At Vokes Lisi, singing is a core part of our musical theatre-focused training. Our students explore their unique vocal voices by working on technique, breath control, and expressive performance. We offer one-to-one coaching in contemporary and theatrical styles, helping each student to build confidence in solo performance and harmony through ensemble work. Acting at Vokes Lisi isn’t just about reciting lines, it’s about discovering character, building stories, and understanding what it means to be on stage. Our acting training covers everything from monologue work to scene study, improvisation, and ensemble performance. We encourage students to develop their interpretation, emotional depth, and confidence in front of an audience. With coaching by professional actors and theatre practitioners, our acting classes help students to be authentic, bold, and expressive, whether they’re performing in a show or preparing for auditions.

Movement and dance are central to our approach. Through weekly classes and workshops, students learn a broad range of styles, from musical theatre choreography to more classical or modern techniques, under the guidance of industry-trained choreographers. We emphasise body awareness, coordination, and performance quality, so that dancers not only acquire technical skills but also connect emotionally with their movement. Whether you're looking to perform in shows or simply enjoy the joy of dance, our training develops discipline, creativity, and stage presence.

We believe in giving our students opportunities to achieve recognised qualifications, and that’s why we offer preparation for professional-level exams. Vokes Lisi is proud to partner with theInternational School of Musicians, and we support students aiming to take their OFQUAL-accredited Grade exams (such as ensemble qualifications) during our courses. Through structured coaching and mock assessments, students build the technical and artistic skills required not only to pass their exams but to perform with confidence and musical maturity.
